Q: I changed contraceptive pill nearly a year ago. I changed from Mercilon to Yasmin, but have experienced weight gain, cellulite and migraines. Do you think it's due to the change of brand? Nothing else in my lifestyle has changed during this time.

A: For a proper diagnosis you need to see your gynaecologist. However, it does sound like your body is not taking to the new brand. Everyone reacts differently to contraceptive pills, so you have to find one that suits your body.
