Q: My sister is fourteen but sexually active. What are the dangers of starting your sex life so young? She looks mature for her age, but I worry for her.

A: Childhood is precious and fleeting. There's plenty of time to experience the joys of sex – but as an adult. She may look mature, but she's still classed as a child. Physically, she's not fully formed, and intercourse may cause damage or future complications.
