Q:I’ve always loved Valentine’s Day and still find it exciting even after getting married. I think it’s a truly romantic idea and always nice to receive a lovely present and to go out for a cozy meal together. I see it as a grand annual expression of our love for one another. I like to choose something nice for my husband as a present. However, my husband thinks Valentine’s Day is silly and jokes about how corny it is and what a waste of money it is. How can I stop him from spoiling this romantic day for me and how can I get him to embrace it in the same way as I do?
